In his NFL Hall of Fame induction speech, Larry Fitzgerald handed out some excellent advice for succeeding in life. He said, “Surround yourself with people who tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. Those are the people who actually love you.” According to an article written by Lauren Paige Kennedy, Queen Latifah gives similar advice. She said to be the kind of person that attracts love. When you attract love, you surround yourself with people who really care about you. These are the people who pick you up when you’re down, who cheer you on when you feel like you’re running out of gas and who are truly happy for you when you succeed. As the Queen puts it: we attract love by giving love and it starts with loving ourselves.
