Maya Angelou was an American author, poet and civil rights activist who passed away recently at the age of 86. During her life time, she said many things worth quoting. In my mind, the one thing she said that stands above the rest is this: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” If we could keep this in mind during our interactions with others, we could make the world a much better place.
