Never Let Those Around You Talk You Out Of Your Dreams

Dream, DreamingDreaming

Sometimes, when you share a dream that you’re excited about with those around you, you’ll find their responses to be less than encouraging.  For example, if you’re thinking about changing careers, starting your own business or going after a promotion, some of your friends and colleagues may tell you to stay where you are because they feel there is a strong possibility that you might fail.  When this occurs, I want you to remember a quote from Theodore Roosevelt that goes like this:  “Far better is is to dare mighty things than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in that gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.”  In other words, go for it!
