Waking Up Dormant Relationships Can Be Energizing

Friends

We all have people in our lives that we’ve known for a long time but haven’t connected with in recent years. These could be people we went to high school with, worked with during our first job, or lived in our old neighborhood. These relationships are still alive, but they’ve been allowed to go dormant for one reason or another. From personal experience, I can tell you that these relationships are worth waking up. All it takes is a phone call, a text, and email or even a personal letter. The other person will be happy you made the effort and the communication between the two of you will be energizing. It’s like you pick up where you left off the last time you communicated with them no matter how long ago it was. So, take the time to wake up a few of the dormant relationships in your life and then enjoy the excitement and good feelings that follow.
