When You Bring People Together, Good Things Can Happen

Dinner Party

My wife and I recently hosted a dinner party. Among the guests were four couples who didn’t know each other. As they arrived, we made sure we introduce them. When it was time to eat dinner, these four couples decided to sit at the same table and seemed to be enjoying each other’s company. Now here’s the fun part: before dinner had ended, this group had planned a holiday party for our end of the neighborhood. And when the party was over, they were all smiles as they left together with plans to continue the fun on another day—and we all look forward to the bonus party that’s coming soon.
