Turning A Bad Day Into A Good One

WritingRewrite Your Script

A friend of mine once told me, “If you don’t like the play, step off the stage and rewrite the script.”  This wisdom is particularly useful for dealing with bad days.  Instead of whining or playing the victim, step back, take a deep breath, and say to yourself, “I’m going to rewrite the rest of today’s script.”  Then make it your mission to brighten the day of everyone around you–say or do something that brings a smile to their faces.  When you do this, they will feel compelled to say or do something that brings a smile to yours and your bad day will quickly turn into a good one.
