One of the most deep-seated needs among human beings is the need to be appreciated. This need is so strong that people crave appreciation almost as much as they crave food. This means that if you satisfy this need, people will absolutely love you for it. So, try leaving a trail of gratitude on your daily trips. All you need to do is smile, say “thank you” often and make it a point to let those around you know that you appreciate them for who they are and what they do. If you do this, you’ll quickly notice how people put smiles on their faces the instant they see you heading in their direction.
