Trader Joe’s Follows an Age Old Formula to a Number One Rating

Consumer Reports recently rated Trader Joe’s as the number one national grocery store chain in the United States. A post made by NBC News contributor Herb Weisbaum on TODAY.com, quoted Consumer Reports’ Tom Marks as saying, “Trader Joe’s gets exemplary marks for service and very good marks for perishables. Their prices were considered extraordinary and they’re a very clean store.” What the report leaves out is the reason Trader Joe’s gets such high marks for service–they treat their employees well. It’s an age old formula: “When you treat your employees, they will take excellent care of your customers and everything else takes care of itself.” Congratulations to all my friends at Trader Joe’s! Keep up the great work.

  1. Ross,

Your right on the money with Trader Joes, if we could do all our grovery shopping there we would.
Unlike that company that starts with an “S” they really do want you to be happy with what you purchased and they do their best to provide healthy alternatives.
A smile and a few kind words go along way.

    Take care,

    KCA
