Recently, my horoscope read:”You are never too young, too old or too broke to make a difference in someone’s live.” I think this could be expanded to include: too busy, too tired, too important or too shy…. Making a difference is what all of us were put on this earth to do–it’s the very thing that makes the world a better place. The reason there’s no excuse is that doing so requires very little time or effort. All it takes is a kind word, a smile, a hug or a listening ear and you’ve made a positive difference in someone’s life. And here’s the wonderful catch to doing this–it makes a big time difference in your life as well. This is one of the ways we are able to experience the sweetness of life.
