My Weekly Reminder

Everyone of us, at one time or another, has done something that has either hurt or disappointed someone thereby damaging your relationship.  This is nothing to be ashamed of, it’s a normal part of being human–stuff like this happens.  What is important, however, is how you deal with these situations after they occur.  The best thing you can do to repair the relationship is to immediately own up to what you did and offer a sincere apology.  If you do this, the other person will almost always forgive you on the spot and whatever you did in the first place will quickly be forgotten.  This will not only heal your relationship with that other person, it will actually strengthen it because now that person knows for certain that you truly care about them.  It will also make you feel very good about yourself and give your immune system a boost besides.
