My Weekly Reminder
In life, one step leads to another, but you have to take that first step before it can lead to another. Sometimes our dreams appear so far away that they seem out of reach. When this happens, remember the old Chinese Proverb: “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Dreams are rarely achieved with giant leaps and bounds that only a very few people are capable of. Rather, they are achieved by taking one normal size risk-free step at a time. So, instead of sitting there and stewing about the fact that your dream seems so far away, take that first step and then another…. You’ll find the whole process quite liberating because with each step, your dream becomes closer and closer to being a reality.

“Ross
I used your advice about little gifts in your Weekly Reminder and, for my largest customer, I bought the girls in accounting and buyer’s assistants little gift bags from Bath & Body Works. I told each of these people that I appreciate the job they do for me–clearing up deductions, researching charges and sometimes just letting me know when I call if my buyer is in a bad mood. The bags cost around $12 each, but they went a long way toward improving relations. It has already helped me expedite a couple of favors that I needed.”
