My Weekly Reminder

For a number of years, my wife conducted gift making workshops during early December.  During these workships, she would poll the participants as to their most cherished holiday memories.  Not once did anyone recall a specific gift.  It was always about something they had done with someone else, something they had done for someone else or something someone else had done for them.  The simple, but powerful truth here is that the holiday season is about doing and sharing, not about buying.  So, keep this in mind the next time you are stressing out over how you are going to find or pay for that “perfect” gift.  Have a wonderfilled holiday season!

 Feedback From a Subscriber

I received the following email from a subscriber about last week’s Weekly Reminder:

Ross,

I love your weekly messages.  They not only inspire me but help me to keep things in perspective.  This week’s message about worrying was very apropos. I especially love the quote, ‘If you cannot help worrying, remember that worrying cannot help you either.’  Please continue to keep up the good work.”
