Over the years, I have been asked the following question many times: “What are some meaningful things I can do to that will enable me to step out of my comfort zone and expand my horizons?” I came across a quote from a person named Roumaissa that provides some answers to this question: “Become friends with people who aren’t the same age as you. Hang out with people whose first language isn’t the same as yours. Get to know someone who doesn’t come from your social class. This is how you see the world. This is how you grow…” You don’t have to do the exact things that she lists here but this gives you an idea of the kinds of things you can do. I think it’s excellent advice.
