A number of years ago when our grandaughter Mia was three years old, about ten of our family members went to dinner together. When dinner was finnished, one of the servers brought out a gigantic (see photo) serving of cotton candy in a very over-sized martini glass. When Mia realized that it was for her, her eyes became huge as did her smile and she started bouncing up and down and giggling. She was absolutely beside herself with joy and her joy became contageous! In a very short time, our entire party had taken on Mia’s joy as did a number of restaurant patrons who were observing what was going on. There are two lessons here: First, go for the cotton candy and the joy that a child’s giggle brings. Second, when you feel joyful, don’t hold back, share it with others by letting it show! You could be the source of joy for a lot of other people.
