…pursue your dream.

All of us have dreams, but not everyone’s dream comes true.  The question is, why?  The song, When You Wish Upon a Star provides two important insights necessary to answer this question.  First, as the song says, “When your heart is in your dream, no request is too extreme.”  Having your heart in your dream means you are willing to do whatever it takes to pursue your dream.  Many people keep their dream in a box on their closet shelf.  Every now and then, they open the box, look at their dream and then put the box back on the shelf.  Yes, they have a beautiful and wonderful dream, but they do nothing about it so there’s no way it can come true.  Second, as you continue to pursue your dream, sooner or later something very special happens.  Again, quoting from the song, “Like a bolt out of the blue, fate steps in and pulls you through.”  This means that if you have the courage to pursue your dream long enough and hard enough, fate is going to see to it that your courage is rewarded.
