My Weekly Reminder–I need your help

I’ve received a number of emails that go something like this:  “My boss only talks to me when I mess up.  I’ve never heard anything positive from her.”  Or, “Once a month a ‘gotcha’ email comes from my boss.  Just once, I’d like to get an ‘atta boy.'”  Or, “My boss just doesn’t see how much more he’d get out of all of us if we just got a little recognition and encouragement.”  Then they ask if I have any suggestions on how to turn their boss around.  What I’ve decided to do is turn this Weekly Reminder over to you.  I know a number of you have been directly involved in situations where you’ve helped turn a negative boss into a positive one while others of you have watched this happen to someone else’s boss.  If you have, I would like you to email your stories to me so that I could share them with the rest of the readers.  Thank you very much.  Have a great week!

I received the following emails concerning last week’s Reminder about moving a penny from your left pocket to your right pocket each time you brightened someone’s day:
