Several weeks ago, I opened up Facebook and noticed that, Nancy; a long time friend of mine had made the following post: “Well, I did my good deed for the day. I went to City Hall and the bank and on the way home it started raining. As I drove down the road that leads to my house, I noticed an elderly lady walking alongside the road with her walker, I had seen her before but didn’t know her, so I stopped and asked her I could take her home so she wouldn’t be soaked by the time she got there. I put her walker in my backseat and off we went. When I dropped her off at her house, she said, ‘Thank you so much for stopping even though you don’t even know me.’ I made sure she got inside okay and was just glad I drove by when I did.” These are the kinds of deeds the world needs more of because they make it a much better place.
