Being Likeable Gives You a Real Advantage in Life

Likable

A study published in the Harvard Business Review found that being likable—making those around you feel good about themselves—is more important to your success than how competent you are. Citing this study and other research, an article in USA Today stated that likable people are favored by their coworkers, have a profound positive influence on customers and are more likely to get bigger pay raises and promotions. This means that if you aren’t likeable, the opposite is true. So, make being likeable part of who you are. Doing so will not only make you happier, it will put money in your pocket as well.
