A Lot of People Just Need Someone to be Kind to Them Today

Diversity

Nearly everyone you run into is looking for someone to be kind to them. Being on the receiving end of a kind act makes people feel better, feel happier, makes them smile, and increases their level of self-esteem because it validates their importance. All it takes is a kind word, a smile, a compliment, opening the door for someone, or letting them cut in front of you in traffic. While these acts may seem insignificant to us, they could change the other person’s entire day for the better and make their world a better place. So, the next time you’re out running errands, before you get out of your car, ask yourself the question, “What can I do to be kind to the people I run into?” Then do it and take note of how well you’re feeling as you’re getting back into your car.
