Thank You!
This marks the 100th issue of Ross Reck’s Weekly Reminder! I would like to thank each and every one of you for subscribing. Also, I would especially like to thank the gang who attended my seminar a little over two years ago in Montreal and suggested that I do this reminder service. I have thoroughly enjoyed putting it together. Thanks again! Ross
My Weekly Reminder
Growth experiences–those forays into the difficult and unfamiliar–are often challenging and sometimes painful. This is why many people choose to avoid them–they prefer to stay within the friendly confines of their “comfort zone.” Successfully negotiating these growth experiences is how we learn and how we strengthen our self-image. Once you have succeeded at something that is difficult and unfamiliar, you know you can do it again. So, the next time you are confronted with a similar situation, you will feel confident that you are going to succeed–you will see the glass as half-full. On the other hand, someone who has avoided venturing off into the difficult and unfamiliar will view the same opportunity with doubt and trepidation–they will see the glass as half-empty. So, when a growth opportunity comes your way, go for it! If you do, you will view a lot more glasses as being half-full instead of half-empty.
