My Weekly Reminder

I’m sure you’ve all heard the saying that, “It takes only one rotten apple to spoil the whole barrel.”  Just the opposite is true when it comes to people—one person with a positive attitude can turn around an entire toxic work situation.  A positive attitude is contagious.  The reason is the human beings are “wired” to be positive and upbeat.  One person with a positive attitude ignites the positive attitude in the people around him or her.  These people, in turn, ignite the positive attitudes in the people around them and so forth.  Pretty soon the whole place is bubbling with positive vibes all because one person chose to come to work with a positive attitude.  Remember, every day, when you wake up in the morning, you choose your attitude.  If you choose to be positive, you’ll be doing yourself, and everyone around you, a huge favor.

Travels

I will be in Seattle on May 31 speaking about Revved! to the employees of amazon.com.  I will also be in Toronto promoting the book at Book Expo Canada during June 10-12.
