My Weekly Reminder
Have you ever gone on a vacation with someone who was inflexible–where everything had to be done his or her way? If you have, chances are you never went on a vacation with that person again. The same thing holds true in other aspects of life–especially at work. Dealing with inflexible people is rarely a pleasant experience under any circumstances. These are the kind of people most of us try to avoid. On the other hand, people absolutely love to hang out or work with those people who are flexible or adaptable in social situations. They bring with them a ray of sunshine which brightens the day of those around them. So, if you want to improve your likeablity, all you need to do is lighten up and go with the flow. If you do this, people will seek you out.
